The group proposed the development of a video that could run in a continuous loop at the consulate
with information on OSHA and Wage and Hour. The idea was forwarded to the National Office to request
assistance to ensure that the video was professional quality.
IV. Results
The alliance has brought together not only the signatory groups but other groups who interact with
the Hispanic population in Iowa. The group continues to work to develop a train-the-trainer session
where the signatory groups will train other groups on the services they offer. The goal of this
training is to educate organizations in Iowa that interact with the Hispanic community which will
allow for better referrals to the correct group or Agency.
