AGREEMENT ESTABLISHING AN ALLIANCE BETWEEN THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION RESEARCH AND INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY ADMINISTRATION TRANSPORTATION SAFETY INSTITUTE (TSI) AND THE OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH ADMINISTRATION U.S. DEPARTMENT OF LABOR OSHA DALLAS REGIONAL OFFICE (OSHA) AND TEXAS ENGINEERING EXTENSION SERVICE (TEEX) OSHA TRAINING INSTITUTE SOUTHWEST EDUCATION CENTER |

The Transportation Safety Institute (TSI), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Texas Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) recognize the value of establishing a collaborative relationship to foster safer and healthier American workplaces. TSI, OSHA, and TEEX hereby form a training alliance in order to provide a detailed Aviation Safety Program of instruction to protect employees’ health and safety, particularly in reducing and preventing exposure to aviation industry hazards. In developing this cooperative effort, TSI, OSHA, and TEEX recognize that OSHA’s State Plan and Consultation Project partners are an integral part of the OSHA national effort. TSI, OSHA, and TEEX will work together to achieve the following training and education goals:
An implementation team made up of representatives of all organizations will meet to develop a plan of action, determine working procedures, and identify the roles and responsibilities of the participants. The alliance may be terminated for any reason at any time upon 30 days written notice. This alliance may be modified at any time with the concurrence of all signatories.
