I. Alliance Background: Mobile County School System, American Society of Safety Engineers, Mobile United and Safe State Consultation Program Alliance to provide MCPSS, Mobile United employees and others with information, guidance, and access to training resources in order to help protect employees’ health and safety, in particular youth workers, by addressing musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs), workplace violence, bloodborne pathogens, falls, chemical exposure, machine guarding, electrical, material handling hazards. Date Signed: March 16, 2004 Overview: This alliance was formed between the participating agencies and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) with the purpose of promoting safe and healthful working conditions for youth workers in the Mobile Area. Implementation Team Membership: Representatives from OSHA, Mobile County Public Schools, ASSE - Mobile Chapter, Safe State, and Mobile United. Contributors: Same as above. Evaluation Period: March 16, 2004, through March 16, 2005 II. Implementation Team Meetings: July 26, 2004; September 10, 2004, October 22, 2004; December 21, 2004; and February 11, 2005. III.
