The first year of the Alliance was primarily devoted to initial planning activities and developing relations with the KCA membership. It is believed that the alliance will continue to grow as we begin our second year working together. It would be beneficial for both parties if these efforts could focus on the types of injuries being experienced by the membership. This can only occur if their is continued dialogue, openness and a desire to reach the goals of our partnership.
V. Upcoming Milestones 1. KCA is planning a fall 2006 seminar for KCA members to meet with OSHA, review a particular safety topic and have an open discussion. 2. Additional training sessions will be conducted and monthly newsletters will be prepared by KCA’s consultant, J.W. Safety Management & Training Inc. |
