AGREEMENT ESTABLISHING AN ALLIANCE BETWEEN OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH ADMINISTRATION U.S. DEPARTMENT OF LABOR PARSIPPANY AND HASBROUCK HEIGHTS AREA OFFICES AND THE COMMITTEE IN UNION FOR SALVADORIANS UNION CITY, NJ |

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and The Committee In Union For Salvadorians (CEUS) recognize the value of establishing a collaborative relationship to foster safe and more healthful workplaces. OSHA and CEUS hereby form an Alliance to provide CEUS members and others with information, guidance and access to training resources that will help them protect the health and safety of Latino employees who have limited skills in English. OSHA and CEUS will work together to achieve the following training and education goal:
An implementation team made up of representatives of both organizations will meet to develop a plan of action, determine working procedures, and identify the roles and responsibilities of the participants. In addition, they will meet on a regular schedule to track and share information on activities and results in achieving the goals of the Alliance. This agreement will remain in effect for two years from the date of signing. This agreement may be modified at any time with the concurrence of the signatories and may be terminated for any reason with 30 days written notice.
