Training forms a vital part of the EPA Quality System. The EPA Quality Staff is responsible for developing generic training on quality-related issues. EPA organizations are responsible for providing appropriate training, for all levels of management and staff, to assure that quality assurance and quality control responsibilities and specifications are understood at every stage of project implementation.
Annual Conference on Managing Environmental Quality Systems
In addition to a Training Program, the Quality Staff sponsors an annual conference on managing quality systems for environmental programs. This conference is a national forum for disseminating and exchanging information on managing the quality of environmental data; discussion and action on issues of national concern; training; and technical presentations.
