    Planning Maps
In the 1980s and 1990s, the Bureau of Land Management embarked on a plan to develop land use plans called Management Framework Plans (MFPs)and Resource Management Plans (RMPs) for the Field Offices and Field Stations (FSs) in Montana and the Dakotas. This map (Current Land Use Planning Boundaries Montana/Dakotas) portrays the boundaries and completion dates for each of the plans and the city where the BLM office that administers the plan is located.
