Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar hosted public meetings in both Dillingham and Anchorage Alaska to hear public comment on building a comprehensive energy strategy for the U.S. Outer Continental Shelf.  On Monday, the Secretary flew to Dillingham with Alaska Senator Mark Begich where he took questions from local citizens at a town hall style meeting in the Dillingham High School gymnasium.  On Tuesday the Secretary was at the Dena’ina Civic & Convention Center in Anchorage, Alaska.  He took questions from a panel that included Alaska elected officials.
