I/UCRC Evaluator Meeting

A meeting for members of the Industry/University Cooperative Research Center (I/UCRC)

June 3, 2009 8:00 AM  to
June 4, 2009 11:00 AM
Key Bridge Marriott in Arlington, VA

I/UCRC Evaluator Meeting, June 3-4, 2009

This Wed.-Thur. timing is a slight departure from tradition. As usual, on the first day we'll start at 8am, have an invited speaker in the morning, meet until about 5pm, have our usual evening reception, and go to dinner in groups or on our own. Day 2 we'll start slightly early, 7:30am, and end earlier than usual, 11am, because that's when we lose half of the group anyway, leaving to catch flights.

The Marriott has rooms set aside for us at a rate of $189 plus tax. Their number is (703) 524-6400.

For our invited speaker, Denis Gray and I have identified a couple of good prospects. Our first choice right now is an expert on the science of team science. We'll need to invite our speaker soon. If you have suggestions, please let me know before Friday, Nov. 7th.

We'll have a tentative agenda for our June meeting at the 2009 I/UCRC Annual Meeting, January 7th - 9th at the Key Bridge Marriott. You can register for that at the Ann Becker & Associates website http://www.abecker.com/ starting Friday. We'll have our usual Evaluator break-out as a pre-session before the first plenary, and another break-out on Friday morning. Stay tuned for more about our January Evaluator agenda...
