What Are Information Bulletins?  Information Bulletins (IBs) are temporary directives that supplement the Bureau Manual Sections. Information Bulletins disseminate information of interest to BLM employees. They do not contain new BLM policy, procedures, or instructional material. They may:
    • call attention to existing policies or procedures,
    • transmit material such as publications and announcements,
    • require an action or response from BLM officials such as confirming attendance at meetings, commenting on draft documents, or providing requested information.
There are two kinds of IBs -- WO (National) which apply to all of BLM and Director's Office (DO) which apply only to Washington Office employees.

We have also established an archive of IBs. Each year is one compressed file in the zip format. You can use any common uncompressor to uncompress the file. Each year has an index (not hyperlinked) to each file showing its contents.
