Wildland fire activity lessened over the weekend. A total of six large fires have burned 49,912 acres. One large fire was contained in Texas.

Weather:

Precipitation is predicted to continue throughout the southeastern states. The Great Lakes and northeastern states will experience a cold front. Gusty winds are expected across the west-central US.

Harley (Florida Division of Forestry): 1,200 acres at 95 percent contained. This fire is one mile northeast of Bithlo.
Gilchrist (Florida Division of Forestry): 300 acres at zero percent contained. This fire is five miles east of Trenton.
Canal (Florida Division of Forestry): 276 acres at 90 percent contained. This fire is five miles southwest of Oak Hill.
