Bioproducts and Biocatalysis (BBC) creates new uses for agricultural materials by developing new biochemical processes for the production of sustainable fuels, renewable chemicals and bioproducts. Novel biotechnologies are needed for producing renewable chemicals and bioproducts from agricultural feedstocks.  Working closely with industry, this research team is developing enabling technologies that are critical for commercialization of advanced biofuels and bioproducts.  Learn more about BBC research projects here.
