Sustainability Education Grants Guidelines:

We are pleased to announce an extraordinary opportunity for MOWAA Members as we officially kick-off the first Certificate Program with a fast-track education and training session in Development and Fundraising at the National Center for Nutrition Leadership (the Center) in Alexandria, VA, on November 17 and 18, 2008.

We know that your programs face significant challenges – many of which you cannot control — just stretching your finances to meet the needs of your core mission.   MOWAA does not believe that should interfere with your opportunity to enhance your professional education and attend courses provided at the Center, particularly because what those courses provide are the tools to help you grow and sustain your programs in these difficult times.  That is why MOWAA has created a limited number of Sustainability Education Grants for each Section. These grants will be awarded to MOWAA Members to enable you to attend the fast-track Sessions at the Center in Alexandria, VA.

The first time these grants are available is for the Development Certificate Program on November 17 and 18, 2008. To apply for any of the first grants, click on the Grant Application Form.
