ARRANGEMENT ESTABLISHING AN ALLIANCE BETWEEN U.S. DEPARTMENT OF LABOR OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH ADMINISTRATION HOUSTON AREA OFFICES AND CONSULATE GENERAL OF MEXICO IN HOUSTON |

The U.S. Department of Labor’s, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Houston Area Offices (HAO) and the Consulate General of Mexico in Houston (Consulate), Recognizing the joint commitment to workplace safety and health protections acknowledged in the 2004 Letter of Agreement between the Department of Labor of the United States of America and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Mexican States; and Recognizing that OSHA’s Alliance Program provides for the establishment of cooperative relationships for purposes such as training and education, outreach and communication and promoting a national dialogue on workplace safety and health; Intend to establish an Alliance to achieve the following: Overall Objective OSHA HAO and the Consulate intend to establish a collaborative relationship to provide the Consulate’s members and others with information, guidance, and access to training resources that is aimed to help them protect employee’s health and safety, particularly in reducing and preventing exposure to:

This Arrangement is to remain in effect for two years. Either signatory may terminate it for any reason at any time with 30 days written notice. This Arrangement may be modified in writing at any time with the concurrence of all signatories. Signed at the Mexican Consulate in Houston, in duplicate, this 24th day of March, 2006.
