About Score:

Welcome to the Southeastern Connecticut Chapter of Score®! SCORE® - Counselors to America's Small Business - is a nonprofit association dedicated to the success of small business in America. Contact us for free and confidential advice about starting your own business or advice [to owners of small businesses] about  growing an existing business. Your Southeastern Connecticut group of SCORE® volunteers are working or retired business owners, executives and managers who can offer a wealth of information and insights on a wide variety of business problems.

How we can help you?

Do you have dreams of someday owning your own business? Are you already an entrepreneur and want to enhance the profitability of your business? SCORE® is here to help. Throughout this website you'll find concise answers to common small business questions. You will also find tips on developing new customers and on keeping the old ones happy. Look for insights into many other business-related issues you may never have thought of, but should have thought of.

If you are new to Score®, review the information about Counseling so you are aware of what is involved. Consider ahead of time what you need to do and want to do at your first Counseling Session. When you are ready, contact us to find a convenient counseling location and time for you and to set up your first counseling session.

While our SCORE® Chapter helps approximately 200 clients each year, we believe business decisions that may affect your livelihood or the success of your business should be discussed in an environment where all of the relevant details can be aired. Our counseling process consistently results in high quality advice. SCORE® volunteers are committed to helping you succeed on your own terms. We look forward to working with you.
