Have you ever wished you had a shoulder to lean on, someone who knows business from the inside out? Starting or expanding a small business can be overwhelming. In many cases, you may think of it as a gamble. SCORE volunteers can help take some of the mystery out of starting or growing your own business through our free and confidential counseling and mentoring.

  SCORE operates as a resource partner in cooperation with the U.S. Small Business Administra­tion (SBA) to provide existing and prospective business owners with information vital to their success. Our volunteers have expertise in financial options, business planning, marketing, manufacturing, retailing, accounting, legal, insurance and much more.

  The Syracuse chapter of SCORE is comprised of more than 45 local business men and women volunteers who provide free and confidential counseling, men­toring and education to entrepre­neurs in Onondaga, Madison and Cortland counties.
