Juvenile Sex Offender Treatment Program Development and Capacity Building
The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention announced a grant to develop, enhance and implement effective treatment programs, and to improve the juvenile justice system so that it protects public safety, holds offenders accountable, and provides treatment and rehabilitative services tailored to the needs of juvenile sex offenders.  This program provides support to develop or build capacity of residential treatment programs for juvenile sex offenders, in particular regarding reentry of youth into their home communities.  Faith- and community-based organizations are eligible to apply.  Deadline: 8:00 p.m. E.T., August 9, 2007.
