On Monday January 12th, Deputy U.S. Marshals and
task force members arrested Tavarous Frazier, 19, on a Probation Violation
Warrant from Miami, FL. This probation violation stems from original charges
for Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Carrying a Concealed Firearm,
Resisting Arrest and Theft.
On Tuesday, Deputy U.S. Marshals and Task
Force Members arrested five fugitives in one day. The first arrest of the
day was for Joe Littles,32 who was wanted by the Tallahassee Police
Department for Robbery and Felony Battery with Bodily Harm. Littles was
arrested at his home in the 5000 block of Williams Road.
Koesha Parham, 22, was arrested on charges of Armed Robbery with a Firearm
filed by the Tallahassee Police Department. Parham was arrested on the FSU
campus as she was traveling to class there.
Robert Robinson, 37 was wanted by the Leon County Sheriff’s Office for
Failure to Register as a Career Criminal and Violation of Probation.
Robinson was arrested in the 2200 Block of Holton Street.
Ervin Thomas, 23, was arrested in the 2000 Block of Texas Street on warrants
filed by the Tallahassee Police Department for Possession of Controlled
Substance and Possession of Narcotic Paraphernalia.
Task Force Members were called out again after an already busy day to work
the Marcus Schrenker case. As reported earlier, Schrenker was arrested late
Tuesday night at a Gadsden County KOA Campground after what has been
described by the U.S. Marshal Service Director John Clarke as “one of the
more inventive escape attempts I have ever seen”.
Early Friday Morning, January 16th, Deputies and Task Force Members arrested
Aaron Ashe, 26, who was wanted by the Leon County Sheriff’s Office on
charges of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Aggravated Assault
with a Deadly Weapon, and Battery. Ashe was arrested after a brief attempt
to evade capture in the 500 Block of Magnolia Street and had a handcuff key
in his possession when taken into custody.
As of Friday January 16th, 2009 at 9:30am, Marcus Schrenker remains in
stable condition at the Tallahassee Memorial Hospital today where it is
expected he will remain until early next week.
The United States Marshals spearhead the Florida Regional Fugitive Task
Force which is comprised of law enforcement officers from the U.S. Marshals,
Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Tallahassee Police Department, Leon
County Sheriff’s Office, Gadsden County Sheriffs Office, and the Wakulla
County Sheriff’s Office.
