Indiana Double Murder Suspect Arrested in San Diego
 
San Diego, CA - The San Diego Fugitive Task Force today arrested Michael Brown in Hillcrest on two outstanding homicide warrants. Brown is wanted by the Indianapolis Metro Police Department in Indianapolis, IN for the murder of two Decatur Township men.

Brown allegedly killed two men in their home with a blunt object.

On Oct 20, 2008 Brown called Indianapolis Police after "discovering" the two bodies in their Decatur Township home. Brown stated to police that during a welfare check, he got inside the home through a back window after knocking on the front door.

Brown became the suspect in the homicide and two felony warrants for homicide were issued yesterday in Indianapolis.

Indianapolis Police requested the assistance of the U.S. Marshals in San Diego after receiving information that Brown had fled to San Diego.

San Diego Fugitive Task Force Officers went to Hillcrest after obtaining information that Brown was in the area of Scripps Hospital. Officers inquired with security personnel at Scripps Hospital and established that Brown was in the area. Shortly after, San Diego Task Force Officers saw Brown and placed him under arrest inside the hospital lobby.

Brown was booked into San Diego County Jail and is awaiting extradition to Indianapolis, IN.

The San Diego Fugitive Task Force, coordinated by the U.S. Marshals Service,
is a multi-agency task force that targets persons wanted for violent crimes narcotic and
