U.S. Marshals Arrest Arkansas Most Wanted Fugitive
David McGlothlin is wanted for escape by the U.S. Marshals

Cincinnati, OH - The U.S. Marshals, Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) arrested David McGlothlin at the intersection of I-75 and Mitchell Avenue in Cincinnati, OH, at approximately 8:30 a.m. after the SOFAST unit received a tip putting McGlothlin in the Cincinnati area.

After an extensive investigation, the SOFAST unit was led to I-75 and Mitchell Avenue, where McGlothlin had been living underneath the interstate overpass. McGlothlin had been handing out flyers in the area promoting himself as a self- employed handyman looking for work. Deputies caught McGlothlin as he was walking to a potential job location.

McGlothlin has been on the run for over 19 months and has been on the Arkansas Most Wanted List for over a year. McGlothlin escaped from a federal institution where he was serving prison time for a conviction involving multiple counts of interstate theft of motor vehicles.

The SOFAST unit is a multi-jurisdictional task force comprised of the U.S. Marshals, Cincinnati Police Department, Hamilton County Sheriffs Deputies, Drug Enforcement Administration, Lockland Police Department, and the Butler County Sheriffs Department.

U.S. Marshals are the nation’s primary fugitive hunting organization and capture more federal fugitives each year than all other law enforcement agencies combined. For more information, go to www.usmarshals.gov.
