       WASHINGTON, D.C. . U.S. Department of Justice Community Relations Service Director Sharee M. Freeman will address the 54th Annual Conference of the International Association of Official Human Rights Agencies (IAOHRA) in New Orleans, Louisiana. The theme of the conference is "Human Rights at the Crossroads: Challenges and Solutions." The conference will be held from July 26 through August 1, 2002, at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, 921 Canal Street, New Orleans, Louisiana.

                  Association of Official Human Rights Agencies "Balancing Homeland Security with Human Rights
                  Protections" Workshop.

Director Freeman will attend the 10:00 IAOHRA Press Conference at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel.
