The bank account and/or routing number that I entered when making an online payment appears to have changed since the last time I logged in. What happened?

Occasionally, the Direct Loan Servicing Center receives electronic notifications from banking institutions reporting changes in a borrower's bank account information. These notifications are routine transactions that result from such things as bank mergers or some other bank initiated change that is required to facilitate the processing of electronic funds from the bank.

If you feel that the bank account or routing number that is on your account has changed from what you entered and are unsure that it is still accurate, please contact your bank to verify the information.
