Outreach

The Center for Veterans Enterprise maintains a robust Outreach Program for veterans, veteran business owners and acquisition professionals. These programs include:

  • Community Training Program – Our professional trainers are available to address community events and can be customized to meet customer requirements.

Federal Contractor Certification - CVE and the Association of Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (APTAC) have partnered to create this training program for small business owners.

  • Conference Management – CVE offers professional conference management services to help develop and host community conferences.  See the Conference Request form to request assistance.
  • Annual Mailings – The Secretary of Veterans Affairs is required by law to coordinate with the Small Business Administration and the Department of Labor in producing an annual notification.  In addition to this mailing, businesses registered in the Vendor Information Pages can receive email notifications.
  • Community Provider Training – The CVE staff offers training on the “Fundamentals of the Federal Veterans Entrepreneurship Program” as well as other focused sensitivity training.
Champions Recognition Program – Our annual awards program recognizes individuals and organizations that are outstanding advocates for veteran-owned small businesses.
