Rural Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Sexual Assault, and Stalking Program, Grant Announcement

The Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) of the U.S. Dept. of Justice has put out a grant announcement for its Rural Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Sexual Assault, and Stalking Program. The primary purpose of this program is to enhance the safety of child, youth, and adult victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking by supporting projects uniquely designed to address and prevent these crimes in rural jurisdictions. Faith-based and other community organizations are eligible to apply. The letter of intent deadline is February 4, 2008; the registering on Grants.gov deadline is February 4, 2008, and the application deadline is 8:00 pm EST on February 26, 2008. Residential Reentry Center Services, Jacksonville (Duval County), Florida, Solicitation

The Bureau of Prisons of the U.S. Dept. of Justice has put out a solicitation notice for Residential Reentry Center Services for male and female offenders in Jacksonville (Duval County), Florida. The response deadline is 2:00 pm EST on February 11, 2008. The contract period shall consist of a base period of two (2) years with three (3) 1-year option periods for renewal at the discretion of the Government. Faith-based and community organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
