The balance on my statement does not match the total amount of the loan on my promissory note. Why?

There are several reasons why this could happen:

• Your loans are disbursed in increments. Your statement may reflect only a portion of your total loan disbursement at this time.
• There may have been adjustments or refunds that are not reflected on your promissory note.
• The interest on your loan may have capitalized.
