New VIP Modifciations
In order to support the contracting and veteran business owner community, The Center for Veterans Enterprise will continue to modify and fine tune the VIP database to improve data quality and delivery. Currently VIP is under its third major modification with changes consistent with stakeholder's input from across the U.S. The following upgrades have been implemented or are under contract at present. Business owners please check often to ensure your business profile is updated as changes are rolled.

  • -Business profiles are refreshed daily from CCR
  • -NAICS data field is no longer editable
  • -HUBzone/8(a) and SDB status no longer editable
  • -Email accounts no longer visible to public
  • -Database Web site has Standard VA Look and Feel
  • -Owners can view last time their profiles were accessed
  • -E-signature capability

 

Veteran Eligibilty

  • Locate or register a veteran owned business
  • The Vendor Information Pages Database is the only Federally controlled database in which a legal verification process is used to determine service disabled or veteran status of a small business. All companies participating in the Veterans First program under PL 109-461 are required to submit evidence of ownership / control and veteran status before being awarded a VA contract under the set-aside authority.
