Free Trade Agreements

The United States is currently party to 12 free trade agreements with a number of different countries including Chile, Morocco, Bahrain, Australia and Singapore.

Generally, each free trade agreement moves towards the elimination of tariffs between the United States and its respective trading partner(s), but the agreements themselves are as varied as the countries involved. For the latest legislative action on free trade agreements, please visit http://www.export.gov/fta.
