PHOTO OPPORTUNITY OF ATTORNEY GENERAL JOHN ASHCROFT

WASHINGTON, D.C.- There will be two photo opportunities today, Wednesday, February 7, 2001, with Attorney General John Ashcroft:

FBI MEET AND GREET WITH FBI EMPLOYEES:

Time: 1:30 p.m. (Note: change in time)

Event: Meet and greet with FBI employees

Place: FBI

J. Edgar Hoover Building

935 Pennsylvania Ave., NW

Attorney General Ashcroft will be met at the 10^th and Pennsylvania Avenue entrance of the FBI building by Neil Gallagher, Assistant Director of the FBI (Note: change of escort). The Attorney General and Assistant Director Gallagher will then meet briefly with Director Louis Freeh in his office. Attorney General Ashcroft and Assistant Director Gallagher will then walk through the FBI building to meet employees. There will be no photo opportunities inside the FBI building.

Reporters interested in getting videotape of the Attorney General arriving at the FBI building may set up outside of the 10^th and Pennsylvania Avenue entrance of the FBI beginning at 12:30 p.m. (Note: change in set up time).

ST. LOUIS LAW ENFORCEMENT MEETING:

Time: 3:30 - 3:35 p.m.

Event: Meeting with members of the St. Louis law enforcement community--St. Louis Chief of Police Ron Henderson and St. Louis Attorney Charles Polk

Place: Main Justice Building
