Broadband Technologies Opportunities Program

The purpose of BTOP is to accelerate broadband deployment in unserved and underserved areas and ensure that strategic institutions that might create jobs or provide public benefit have broadband connections. Public meetings are scheduled for March 16, 19, 23 and 24, 2009 at the Department of Commerce in Washington, DC. Field hearings will be held elsewhere on March 17 and 18, 2009.
