The 2009 NAEP reading assessment was administered to students in grades 4, 8, and 12 in schools throughout the country from January to March 2009. Results are expected to be released in 2010.

Students in more than 14,800 schools participated in the 2007 NAEP reading assessment. The assessment was administered from January to March 2007 to approximately 191,000 students at grade 4 and 160,700 students at grade 8. more...
