Dear Colleagues,

Today, November 19, 2007, the Corporation published a proposed rule for AmeriCorps State and National in the Federal Register. This proposed rule includes technical fixes to, minor changes in, or codification of long-standing policies pertaining to member evaluations, performance measurement, national service insignia, false or misleading statements, Inspector General access to grantee records, state service plans, the definition of participant, prohibited activities, living allowance disbursement, living allowance waiver, civil rights, state commission membership, prohibition of split funded project, and the small state minimum and timeframe for formula requests.
