Public Involvement Overview

Public involvement and outreach are integral components of the Alternative Arrangements process. At every stage in the Public Assistance process, the public should be involved and have the opportunity to comment. The public outreach process facilitates two way communication between applicants and underrepresented population groups in the reconstruction process. The Alternative Arrangements were designed to expedite the Environmental Impact Statement process, they were not intended to circumvent or minimize public involvement.
