Did You Know?

Most printed ADEAR publications are free and will be shipped to you (U.S. addresses only) at no charge.

NIA has both English and Spanish Web sites loaded with information about aging and Alzheimer's disease.

NIA recently changed the names of its major divisions. The former Neuroscience and Neuropsychology of Aging Program, led by Dr. Marcelle Morrison-Bogorad, is now the Division of Neuroscience.

NIA sponsors the National Advisory Council on Aging, hosted by NIA Director Richard Hodes, M.D., which meets three times a year.

The ADEAR Center distributes more than 500,000 free publications each year, and encourages bulk orders from organizations that serve large groups of people.

The ADEAR Web site hosts an up-to-date clinical trials database with complete information about Alzheimer's disease research studies and trials, protocols, inclusion and exclusion criteria, study sites, recruitment status, and more.
