USGS Data Grapher

This is a data graphing utility that allows the user to build graphs of data from selected USGS stations. Select the station, the type of graph, the parameter(s) to plot, and the starting and ending dates for the graph. Then, click the button labeled "Make Graph."

To compare time series by month or year, try the Data Grapher by Year. To plot specialized XY plots from one site, use the XY Data Grapher. To plot a wind rose, use the Wind Rose Data Grapher. To plot data from two sites, use the Two-Site Data Grapher. To plot time series from three sites, use the Three-Site Data Grapher. To plot multiple graphs from a single site, try the Multiple-Parameter Data Grapher. For tables rather than graphs, go to the Data Tabler.

Note: I see that javascript is not currently enabled in your browser. That's okay -- the Data Grapher will work without javascript. I invite you to enable javascript for this page, however, because the Data Grapher interface utilizes javascript to clarify and simplify data input.

Step 3:

Choose a graph type.
Time Series
XY Plot

Step 4:

Choose the parameters to plot. For an XY plot, the 2nd parameter will be on the X axis.

1st Parameter:
    Apply a -day running average.

2nd Parameter:
    Apply a -day running average.

Step 5:

Choose starting and ending dates for the data in the graph.

Begin Date: --   Include all data
End Date: --

Step 6:

Make the graph, or reset the form and try again.

Construction of the graph may take a minute or two.
