Air Quality ForecastThe Department of Environmental Protection's Bureau of Air Quality established this site to inform the general public of current air quality concentrations and expected air quality concentrations for the upcoming 24 hours. Air quality forecasts are scheduled to be updated by 3:00 pm weekdays and other times as necessary. Air Quality forecasts are also available on the Bureau's Air Quality Hotline at (800) 223-1196. Sign up for EnviroFlash to receive emails when the air quality is forecast to reach the AQI level you select. Special status notes:Ozone season has begun. Consider signing up for EnviroFlash to receive an email (or a text message on your cell phone) letting you know when air quality is expected to be poor the next day. Today's Forecast: May 7, 2009

[Temperatures warm up quite nicely in some areas and winds will be southwesterly most of the day but expect mostly cloudy to overcast skies and an increasing chance of rain during the afternoon so ozone levels will likely remain low.
