Superfund Basic Research ProgramThe SBRP conducts interactive web-based "Risk e Learning" seminars in collaboration with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Office of Solid Waste and Emergency Response (OSWER). These live, two-hour events are hosted on the Hazardous Waste Clean-Up Information (CLU-IN) website (http://clu-in.org) and provide information about innovative treatment and site characterization technologies to the hazardous waste remediation community: EPA risk assessors and regional project managers, state and local regulatory agencies, environmental engineering/consulting firms, and academia. The Spring/Summer 2009 edition of Risk e Learning: "Computational Toxicology: New Approaches for the 21st Century" begins May 28th. This series of online seminars will provide an introduction to the key concepts of computational toxicology along with case studies demonstrating the utility of these approaches (e.g. high throughput screening, computer modeling, informatics) to risk assessment. Registration information is available on the Computational Toxicology (http://www.niehs.nih.gov/research/supported/s brp/events/riskelearning/comptox.cfm) webpage. In case you missed them, the SBRP archives past seminars. Below is a list of the past seminar series. Please follow the links to access the seminar archives.
