Students from across the Middle East grapple with a chemistry problem at the Petra workshop.

Students work together to solve a chemistry problem at the first of three workshops for young chemists in the Middle East. The workshop, led by Nobel laureate chemist Roald Hoffmann of Cornell University, was held in Petra, Jordan, in January 2006. It included students from across the region.
