National Multi-Agency Coordination Group

The Multi-Agency Coordination (MAC) group is another program facilitated by the National Interagency Fire Center in Boise, Idaho. When the national fire situation becomes severe, the MAC group is activated to identify national or interagency issues, and to set priorities for allocation of resources. This coordination group consists of the NIFC directors and, when appropriate, a representative from the General Services Administration (GSA), a military liaison, and/or state foresters.

Incident Management Teams
Teams consist of members from federal, state, county and local agencies.
