Sr. International Trade Specialist Jayne Woodward, U.S. Commercial Service - Columbia, SC, was recently the guest speaker for the third grade class at River Springs Elementary School in Columbia. The class is currently studying international trade and she covered various topics in her presentation including the importance of trade, products exported from South Carolina, major trading partners, and cultural differences. The students were so involved in the discussion with comments and questions that the presentation went on for two hours.
