The Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans can help children and adolescents, young and middle-aged adults, older adults, and those in every studied racial and ethnic group.

A new study in mice confirms that gene factors play an important role in breast cancer progression. In the study, conducted by the National Cancer Institute, scientists found that genes for factors contributing to susceptibility for breast cancer metastasis can be inherited.

Ozone has been estimated, in an Environmental Protection Agency analysis, to cost the United States $5 billion a year as a result of premature deaths, hospitalizations and school absences. Inhalation of ozone can lead to irritation of the airways and increased wheezing, particularly in children and adults who have asthma and chronic obstructive lung disease.
