The Yavapai Point Trailside Museum was created in 1928 for the observation and understanding of Grand Canyon geology. In this Ranger Minute, Ranger Paul Mayer takes us on a virtual tour of the museum's new exhibits and shows some of the interesting features that can been seen through the building's large picture windows.

Did You Know?
Grand Canyon's Visitor Center and bookstore at Canyon View Information Plaza is reachable
only by free shuttle bus, a one-mile
(1.6-km) walk or bicycle ride from
Market Plaza on the Greenway Trail, or a
short walk from Mather Point. The
Visitor Center is open daily 8:00 a.m. to
5:00 p.m.
