Wild About Children’s Books: Wildlife Art for Kids
Children’s books combine engaging imagery and vivid language to tell their stories while at the same time fostering literacy. Three new children’s books about the Southwest are featured in this dazzling exhibition that demonstrates why books continue to thrive in an electronic age. Admission is free.

When did a book last teach you a fascinating fact, show you how to cook a delicious meal or replace a switch, take you back in time or into the future, make you laugh . . . or cry? Add pictures to the mix, and the experience is intensified.
Give a child a fish and he eats for a day. Teach a child to fish and she eats for a lifetime. Teach children to read and give them the world.
