Great Things Are Happening at AAMP!

As we embark on an historic new chapter in AAMP’s development with the installation of our new core exhibit, Audacious Freedom: African Americans in Philadelphia 1776 – 1876, it will be necessary to close our doors to public access and programs beginning March 9 through May 22, 2009.  During that time the building will undergo a series of renovations and upgrades aimed at taking the visitor experience to a whole new level.  During this time look for AMMP out in your community as we work to spread the word about Audacious Freedom and all of the other outstanding things going on at your African American Museum.
