WASHINGTON, DC — U.S Rep. Charlie Melancon (LA-03) announced today he will tour the Pierre Part Health Center in Pierre Part, Louisiana, and the Teche Action Clinic in Franklin, Louisiana, on Monday, May 11th.  Melancon will meet with healthcare workers at the two clinics to discuss how funding and provisions in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (the “stimulus”) have helped the community health centers provide primary care services to more underinsured and uninsured Louisianians.

 
Landrieu, Melancon Announce $8.4 Million to La. For Gustav, Ike-Related Expenses

WASHINGTON, D.C. – United States Senator Mary Landrieu, D-La., and Representative Charlie Melancon, (LA-03) today announced that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will repay multiple Louisiana agencies a total of $8,437,666 for their emergency work during hurricanes Gustav and Ike.
