Cap and trade is a wealth transfer program

Congressman Pitts serves on the House Energy and Commerce Committee, which is currently in the midst of considering a cap and trade plan to charge energy producers for greenhouse gas emissions.  Congressman Pitts has been active in opposing this national energy tax which could end up costing the average family over $3,000 in additional energy costs per year.
