Economic Recovery Plan

The House Appropriations Committee on January 21st voted to approve its version of the economic stimulus package. There are still a number of steps to complete before President Obama can sign any legislation, but the current version of the bill and bill report are available online.

Also, a summary of the current legislation was prepared by the House Appropriations Committee.

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congressman Sam Farr (D-Carmel) on Wednesday voted in favor of legislation to provide health care for more than 11 million children in modest-income families. The Children's Health Insurance Program Reauthorization Act was approved by a vote of 289-139.
