Daily
10 a.m. & 1 p.m. — Keys Ranch Tour (1½ hours, ½ mile) To find the ranch, pass the entrance to Hidden Valley Campground, turn left at the Y-intersection, follow the road approximately two miles to the locked gate. Your guide will meet you there. The tour costs $5 per person aged 12 and over and $2.50 for children 6–11. Children under six are free. Senior and Access pass holders pay $2.50. Purchase tickets by phone at 760.367.5555 and at the Joshua Tree or Oasis Visitor Center prior to the day of the tour or, space available, at the ranch gate on the day of the tour. Note: the 10 a.m. tours are full on May 7, 11, 12, & 13.
11 a.m. to 3 p.m. — Joshua Tree National Park (30 minutes) A video tour of some of the most beautiful scenery on Earth. Meet at the Oasis Visitor Center.
Upon Request — Welcome to Joshua Tree National Park (15 minutes) A short orientation to the park presented at Joshua Tree Visitor Center.
Mondays, May 4, 11, & 18
2 p.m. — Cap Rock Nature Walk (1 hour, ½ mile on a flat, paved trail) Meet at the Cap Rock parking area located at the Keys View Road and Park Boulevard junction.
Wednesdays, May 6, 13, & 20
9:30 a.m. — Oasis Walk (45 minutes, ½ mile on a paved trail. Take a guided walk around the Oasis of Mara. Meet on the patio of the Oasis Visitor Center.
2 p.m. — Barker Dam Nature Walk (1½ hours, 1 mile on a mostly flat trail, some rock steps) Join a ranger for a discovery hike around the dam. Meet in the parking area at Barker Dam.
Fridays, May 8, 15, & 22
2 p.m. — Cap Rock Nature Walk (1 hour, ½ mile on a flat, paved trail) Meet at the Cap Rock parking area located at the Keys View Road and Park Boulevard junction.
Saturdays, May 9, 16, & 23
2 p.m. — Joshua Tree Rocks! (1 hour, ½ mile both on and off trail, some rock scrambling) Explore rock formations and discuss how they were formed. Meet at the Arch Rock trailhead across from site #9 in White Tank Campground.
8 p.m. — Evening Programs (45 minutes) Illustrated talks on a variety of topics at Jumbo Rocks Campground amphitheater.
Sundays, May 10, 17, & 24
9:30 a.m. — Oasis Walk (45 minutes, ½ mile on a paved trail. Take a guided walk around the Oasis of Mara. Meet on the patio of the Oasis Visitor Center.
