Preventing Violence Against Women: Program Activities Guide
Approximately 1.5 million women are raped and/or physically assaulted by an intimate partner each year. The Preventing Violence Against Women: Program Activities Guide describes CDC’s public health activities and research to prevent violence against women. The guide outlines five categories of activities which are key to CDC’s prevention work: tracking the problem, developing and evaluating prevention strategies, supporting and enhancing prevention programs, providing prevention resources, and encouraging research and development.
