Overfalls Maritime Museum Foundation, The
A steel lightship built in 1938. In service with the Coast Guard until 1971. Docked in the city of Lewes Harbor since 1972. Restoration began in 2000. All volunteer labor. Come and see our work in progress on one of only 17 remaining lightships.
Brandywine Zoo
Delaware's only zoo is conveniently located on the banks of the Brandywine River. Visitors view wild and exotic animals such as majestic Siberian tigers, playful North American river otters, colorful macaws and curious South American tamarin monkeys.
Woodland Ferry
Float back in time on the Virginia C, better known as the Woodland Ferry. Three autos at a time take the free crossing over the beautiful Nanticoke River on the 300-year-old cable-run ferry, one of the last of its kind in the eastern United States.
Lister Acres
Six-acre corn maze, barnyard animals, mini-maze mind bender. Field trips available. Haunted forest by local fire company. Fall decorations, mums, pumpkins and Indian corn.
