Investigators from the Middle Louisiana Fugitive Task Force
arrested Christopher Rogers, 19, at an apartment complex in
Baton Rouge this morning. Rogers was wanted by the Baton Rouge
Police Department and the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office for
his role in several violent robberies. Rogers was wanted in
Ascension Parish for five counts of attempted First Degree
Murder, six counts of Armed Robbery, six counts of Armed Robbery
with a Firearm, and Aggravated Criminal Damage to Property
stemming from multiple incidents that took place in March.
Additionally, Rogers is alleged to have committed attempted
Second Degree Murder on February 2, 2009 when he shot at a
victim several times in Baton Rouge. More USMS News
